High in magnesium, potassium and vitamin C. Pleasant to consume during hot wheather as it is made of 95% water. If eaten raw, it keeps its vitamin C; otherwise it is lost if cooked. It also contains folic acid which is convenient for pregnant women in order to avoid problems in the foetus' development. It strenghtens the immunity system and has a light laxative effect.
